Formation of High Quality Ore from Extracted Rock Is One of Conditions of Rational Technology of its Processing

In modern conditions quality of extracted mineral raw material owing to irretrievability of mineral stocks in bowels and increase of impoverishment of extracted ore is systematically reduced with use of high-efficiency technologies and mining engineering. The application of gross technologies of mineral production also promotes increase of non-uniformity of ore structure meant for benefication. As benefication processes have line production nature their adaptation to sharp fluctuations of ore quality is highly limited. All these factors (increase of ore volume, downturn of useful component contents in it, heterogeneity of its composition) negatively influence on ore-dressing process: lead to sharp increase of reagent consumption, energy consumption, reduction of mineral processing equipment productivity, reduction of recovery in concentrate. The increase of ore amount results also in increase of amount of fine tailings, and consequently, in increase of tailings dumps, deterioration of ecological conditions near mining enterprises. In the paper the way of indemnification of the negative factor influence consisting in ore formation by radiometric separation (preliminary concentration) of ore directly after its extraction has been offered.
